Cucumber adds a refreshing touch to this surprisingly indulgent smoothie. Just make sure to use unsweetened almond milk because the bananas and strawberries add enough sugar for a few servings.
Sweet Kale Smoothie
Makes 2 tall glasses, takes 5 minutes.
- Leaves torn from 3 stalks of kale
- 1 banana
- 2 handfuls of strawberries
- 1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 1 1/2 cups of your favorite unsweetened almond milk
- a handful of ice
Add kale, banana, strawberries, and cucumber to a standup blender. Pour in almond milk, add ice, and blend until smooth.
