Wellness Wednesday: Sweet Kale Smoothie

Kale and Strawberry SmoothieCucumber adds a refreshing touch to this surprisingly indulgent smoothie. Just make sure to use unsweetened almond milk because the bananas and strawberries add enough sugar for a few servings.

Sweet Kale Smoothie

Makes 2 tall glasses, takes 5 minutes.

  • Leaves torn from 3 stalks of kale
  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfuls of strawberries
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups of your favorite unsweetened almond milk
  • a handful of ice

Add kale, banana, strawberries, and cucumber to a standup blender. Pour in almond milk, add ice, and blend until smooth.
