Sundance Film Festival starts tomorrow, and I’m SO sad not to be in Park City! The first time I ever visited the town was during Sundance Film Festival 2008, when my sister’s friend organized a rental house for us and 8 other people. The 5-day trip was amazing—we skied all day and went to screenings and parties at night. That was my first ski trip out west and since then I have been hooked. Now, I travel to Park City at least once a year.

During Sundance, Park City is crawling with Hollywood-types who would rather smile for cameras than carve it up on the mountain—which is precisely why late January is the best time to go if you’re a skier or rider. Lift lines are shorter and trails are clear, while at night there are parties to hop and celebs to spot.
